Masking Identity is an ever-evolving series. What started as a nod to Martin Margiela's distinct Choice in being incognito himself. His use of masks for his couture runways heavily influenced the choice to cover faces when I had decided to distance myself from working in such norms of the fashion industry. Eliminating the need to work with the stereotypical fashion standards of models, hairstylists, and makeup artists alike.
The ongoing face covers have since blossomed into a more specific kind of subject, first, working with friends who I’ve come to know very well or as the series prolongs some people who I may meet for only a short period of time but still carry a strong impact or influence on my journey as an artist/human.
